Date: Sunday, June 1st, 2025 Location: Danelion Brewery – Because nothing pairs better with heavy lifting than cold beer (after your lifting of course!) Warm-ups Begin: 11:00 AM First Event Kicks Off: 11:30 AM WEIGH-INS Saturday, May 31st: 10:00 PM – 3PM at 942 W Woodpine St, Meridian, ID 83646 Sunday, June 1st: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Danelion Brewery SPECTATORS WELCOME! GOOD BEER, GREAT FOOD, & BIG LIFTS! Are you ready to test your farm-strong power and see if you’ve got what it takes to conquer the barnyard? Here are the events: Keg Press Medley Athlete will have 60 seconds to press three kegs overhead. Athlete must begin with the lighter keg and progress to the heaviest and must wait for the down command from the judge before moving to the next keg. No tacky or straps allowed. Keg Toss Athlete will have 60 seconds to toss 3 kegs over a 12' bar as fast as they can. Athlete must start with the lightest keg and get it over the bar before moving onto the next keg. Max Frame Deadlift Athletes will begin with the starting weight for their weight class and perform the first rep, once they receive the down command, they will lower the frame and will have 20lbs (Women's novice and lightweight) and 50lbs (for all other classes) added to the frame and can attempt their next rep once receiving the "up" command. This will continue until failure. Athlete will have 30 seconds to complete an attempt. Straps allowed. No deadlift suit, but briefs are allowed. Milk Can Bear Hug Carry Once given the start command, the athlete will pick up the milkcan from the ground and attempt to carry it for as far as possible. Athlete can use their lap in the first pick, but can not set in on their lap to readjust once they have begun moving forward. Athlete must carry the Milk can in a bear hug - arms wrapped around the canister and may not carry the implement by the bottom lip, the handles, or the top. Grip shirt and chalk allowed. No tacky or tacky towel allowed. Natural Stone Series Athlete will have 90 seconds to load a series of 6 natural stones up to a flatbed truck. Athlete will begin with the lightest stone and work their way up to the heaviest stone. Tacky NOT allowed.
